GIA

We only offer customers the highest quality and best value diamonds, which is why our diamonds are certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the most widely recognised and trusted diamond accreditation body in the world. Buying a GIA certified diamond means buying an authentic and accurately graded diamond.

What is the GIA?

Founded in 1931, the GIA is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to providing unbiased grading and analysis of diamonds and gemstones. GIA’s mission is to ensure public trust in gems and jewellery. It is now also globally recognised as the leader in gem research, education and laboratory services.

Their commitment to protecting diamond buyers inspired them to create the 4C’s, the International Diamond Grading System that has become the universally accepted method to evaluate diamonds. By measuring stones on their Colour, Clarity, Carat weight and Cut, customers can accurately compare diamonds on price and quality and buy with confidence.

Protecting your trust in gemstones

Diamonds graded by GIA are the most highly valued, respected and trustworthy in the diamond industry.

The GIA operates educational campuses around the world, with state-of-the-art laboratories, top international scientists and researchers and unrivalled research facilities.

They’re 100% dedicated to protecting the public’s trust in gemstones and jewellery, to ensure the public have confidence in what they are buying.

GIA Certificates

All diamonds bought from us that are above 0.5 carats come graded by and with a diamond report from the GIA.

A GIA grading report represents an accurate, unbiased, comprehensive, scientific investigation on a diamond. Each GIA certified diamond has a unique report number laser-inscribed on the girdle of the diamond to identify your stone. This unique number matches the accompanying GIA report, which outlines all of the diamond’s key attributes. This report is vital in authenticating the diamond’s quality.

All GIA reports contain security features such as a hologram, security screen and microprint lines to prevent them from being forged. GIA’s report check service can also verify whether the information on the report matches the information on their internal database.
