The Princes Trust

The Prince's Trust

The Prince's Trust helps 11 to 30-year-olds who are in vulnerable situations, supporting them through care, unemployment and financial hardship. The charity’s aim is to assist those facing the greatest adversity onto a pathway to employment, while strengthening their network of opportunity and support and giving them the best chance of future success.

Women Supporting Women is just one of The Prince’s Trust initiatives committed to changing the lives of the young women who The Trust works with.

Some challenges are felt more acutely by women such as lack of financial independence, low self-confidence and poor mental health. Therefore, in 2018, The Prince’s Trust created the initiative Women Supporting Women to raise the profile of gender equality. By investing in work with young women, The Trust wants to ensure that everyone has an equal chance to fulfil their potential. It helps young women build their confidence to move into employment, further education or even start their own business.

The Prince’s Trust has returned £1.4 billion in value to society through its help for disadvantaged young people over the past 10 years alone.

How Alicia J supports The Prince’s Trust

As an ambassador for the Women Supporting Women campaign, Alicia J is committed to ensuring that young women’s futures are not predetermined by circumstance. We do this in a few ways.

For every item from our Bold Ring collection we sell, we donate 3% of the proceeds (minus VAT) directly to The Prince’s Trust to help all young people succeed. The Prince’s Trust is a registered charity incorporated by Royal Charter in England and Wales (1079675) and Scotland (SC041198).

The Brilliant Breakfast

On the 25th November 2021, Alicia J Diamonds partnered with Daniel Galvin Jr MBE and Coutts to host a Brilliant Breakfast in aid of The Prince’s Trust ‘Women Supporting Women’ campaign.

As a nationwide fundraising event, the Brilliant Breakfast’s mission is to inspire and invite everyone from all over the UK to get together and host a breakfast. This campaign will help young women across the country to develop the confidence and skills they need to live, learn and earn.

To find out more about the campaign, please watch our short video below.

"I believe it is more important than ever to support young people with opportunities – to gain skills and confidence for employment, training, education or to start a business."
